Sharing My Pot of Gold
If you have a project waiting for funding on DonorsChoose, you don't want to miss this.
Each month, I have a small pot of gold.
This "gold" is a DonorsChoose gift card and I enjoy nothing more than supporting my fellow teachers.
This month my pot is filled with $150. I'm planning on supporting 3 projects with $50 each. One of these projects could be yours.
So you probably want to know how to get in on the action. It's really very simple.

Yes, that is all you need to do. You can post as many projects as you wish, but each one needs to be posted separately.
I will be reviewing all of the projects submitted on Friday, March 16th and 3 lucky people will receive donations on St. Patrick's Day.

Spring Ahead
This weekend, we'll observe Daylight Savings Time by moving our clocks ahead. For me this is usually the true signal of spring. We've had unseasonably warm weather over the last month here in NC. In some ways it feels like spring came earlier than usual.
Tonight I welcome spring with a cool app that surfaced in my email. It is called iNaturalist.
